Welcome to Bob's Place
We wanted to set up a web site where Bob's friends & family can go to talk to each other (and Bob), tell stories of good times spent with Bob and keep in touch with each other....you know...the way Bob kept in touch with each of us.... A place with photos, some of Bob's writings and basically just 'Bob stuff' that may make us smile, remember, and smile some more, you know? We're novices at this, so any suggestions would be great! And pass the word along to all his friends... -Welcome back to this website originally set up in 2007. The original platform, however, is no longer supported. So, we needed to create a new version. I'm sorry I could not duplicate the original, but hope the majority of information/photos is still here for you all and you will continue to come back! |

Being in the US Cavalry, specifically in the 1st Cav Blackhawks squadron of the 1st Armored Division was a great honor for Bob. He was a tanker in one of the most decorated units in the US Armed Forces. It doesn't get any better than that. He asked his parents once why they didn't proudly fly a flag in front of their house? (Which they now do have flying out front) Be proud to be an American, he often said to us! We are so fortunate to be born in this great country. Be proud!
